Daily Wonder Home Learning
Jennifer, Rebecca and Mareesha worked together at the Comox Valley Waldorf School for 10 years. After their school closed, they used their innovative spirit and passion for educating the whole child to create Daily Wonder. Daily Wonder takes Waldorf education’s principles: child development; loving authority; attachment and connection; experiential learning; artistic connection; heart-centred learning, and crafts it into lessons for the students of today.
Daily Wonder is heart-led Waldorf inspired homeschool curriculum that meets learning outcomes for Grades 1-7. Designed by Waldorf teachers, created for homeschooling parents.
Located on a beautiful country property in the Seal Bay area, Hummingbird Homeschool is deeply influenced by Waldorf principles and is led by Waldorf trained teachers with several years of experience.
Designed as a "playschool" where children are invited into a home environment we play, bake, paint, draw, craft and sing through our days. With an emphasis on nature, seasonal awareness, and the magical realm of childhood we embark upon a journey where each child is embraced as a unique part of the program's community.
Miss Kendra is a fully trained Waldorf Early Childhood Teacher with a decade of experience. She has designed and worked in a variety of programs including the Kindercottage (home-based), as lead Kindergarten teacher within Waldorf schools, and also in homeschooling initiatives (festival director, lead preschool teacher) all on Vancouver Island.
Located in central Courtenay and now accepting applications to her preschool/mixed age Kindergarten program for children aged 3.5 - 5 years old.
