Curriculum Overview
This month your child will explore the tiny critters that live outside around them. What are the ‘homes’ of these critters like? How have the critters adapted to fit right into this place? What is the human impact on the lives of these critters? Your child will have opportunities to pull all their knowledge from their investigations together to imagine a habitat that they could offer the critters. They will use skills in a variety of curriculum areas in their investigations, they’ll use math and collaborative skills in building, and through it all will flow the principle of connectedness, reciprocity, and sense of place.
