The Wonder of Physics

​Immerse your child in the fascinating world of mechanics in The Wonder of Physics unit. The unit aims to foster a sense of curiosity and discovery and highlight balance and leverage for 12- 13-year-olds, drawing inspiration from the discoveries of Galileo Galilei and Isaac Newton. By showing them the laws of motion, force, and energy, we can bring an inner feeling to these highlights.  

Through a hands-on approach, students will delve into the concept of forces influencing the motion of objects, gaining a deep understanding of Newton's laws of motion. They will make hypotheses and design and create their own simple machines. They will also gain insights into the phenomenon of friction and its relation to the energy required for motion. The unit concludes with a project that allows students to showcase their understanding of motion, force, and energy.

The Wonder of the Renaissance

​The Wonder of the Renaissance is an immersive educational unit that explores one of history's most transformative periods, delving into the rebirth of art, culture, and thinking that marked the Renaissance. The Wonder of Asia is an immersive unit that invites your child to explore Asia's diverse and vibrant continent through literature, history, geography, and mathematics. Through engaging biographies, stories, and texts, your child will uncover the continent's history and geography, guided by the five themes of geography: location, place, human-environment interaction, movement, and region. Your child will explore Asia's enduring religious and cultural practices, focusing on a major religion through a research project inspired by the spread of religion along the Silk Road.
